Trail Cameras Help Improve Game Management For Hunting

Are you are in the market for a new trail camera? If so you should check out the new Bushnell X-8, it has a lot of great features that I like.I especially like the night vision technology that the game can’t see and the fact that it captures game up to 60 feet away. If you are like me and like to get pictures of your game on  your hunting property but don’t want the game to be spooked by bright flashing lights you can’t beat the (PIR) passive infrared sensor and with a trigger speed of less than one second you can be confident you won’t ever miss that game when it passes by. Trail cameras are a great tool for deer hunting. I don’t know what we ever did without them on our hunting property. By using game cams you can learn a lot about the wildlife on your property and make wise informed decisions for game management and the new Bushnell X-8 can help you do just that.

Hunters Get More for Less with the New Bushnell X-8 Trail Camera

Overland Park, Kan. — Bushnell Outdoor Products, an industry leader in high-performance sports optics and outdoor accessories for more than 60 years, has introduced the Bushnell X-8 to its leading line of trail cameras. The Bushnell X-8 gives hunters the dependability and high-quality performance they have come to expect from Bushnell for a budget-friendly price.

With its 6 MP full-color resolution and 36 low-glow infrared night vision LEDs, the X-8 records game activity day or night. Utilizing night vision technology that is virtually invisible to game and a motion-activated, passive infrared (PIR) sensor, the X-8 captures game up to 60 feet away. The camera features an impressive trigger speed of less than one second, and the multi-image mode allows the camera to capture one to three images per trigger.

Hunters can observe food plots and field edges from dawn to dusk by taking advantage of the Field Scan time lapse technology from Bushnell. Field Scan allows users to program the camera to automatically snap images at preset intervals ranging from one minute to 60 minutes, while maintaining the ability to simultaneously capture live trigger images.

In addition to high-quality images, the X-8 can capture full-color video in five to 60 second programmable segments. Thanks to a nine-month battery life and massive 32 GB SD card capacity that can store more than 20,000 images, hunters can rest assured with the hard working X-8 trail camera in the field.

Available in July 2012 for an estimated retail price of $149.99, the Bushnell X-8 trail camera includes an adjustable web belt for quick deployment in the field. For more information about Bushnell Outdoor Products, visit www.bushnell.com or call 1-800-423-3537.

Browning Proudly Announces New Gun The A-5 Semi-Auto Shotgun

I’m thinking about getting a new gun. A shotgun to be exact and I really like the Browning A-5 Semi-Auto shotgun. The first production of the Auto-5 began back in 1902. They were produced by F.N., and John M. Browning’s first order was for 10,000 of these shotguns. 1,000 of these were produced in a high-grade wood. Browning issued the “Final Tribute” version in 1999 and featured engraved scenes of the F.N. Factory, John M. Browning, and of the Browning Brothers first store.  After this final tribute production of the famous “A-5″ ceased and now it’s back. It looks like a very nice gun and I’ve always liked every Browning gun I have owned. The A-5 Semi-Auto shotgun has a lot of great features including a Ultra-reliable, honed to perfection Kinematic Drive System. I also like that it’s available in wood (Hunter), synthetic (Stalker) and Mossy Oak Duck Blind and Infinity with Dura-Touch Armor Coating. I can see myself shooting doves, turkeys, ducks, geese and quail with this bad boy right now. If you are in the market for a new shotgun you might want to check out the Browning A-5  semi-auto shotgun. I saw this press release I wanted to share with all you hunters out there.

Cool Realtree Hunting Apparel By Browning

Having good hunting equipment can be the difference in a nice warm dry day in the field and a cold wet miserable day in the field. And having a good camouflage pattern can be the difference in getting that that trophy buck of a lifetime or him busting you and bolting. That being said Browning announces a new addition of Realtree Camo Patterns to their line of apparel, and they have got some cool stuff, no matter what you are hunting.

“Having Realtree camo patterns in our line will give us a dimension we have not had in the past. Now our customers can choose between the two most popular camo brands on the planet. We have already had a lot of positive comments and expect to see significant growth in our business as a result,” said Dale Weathers, Vice President, Outdoor Products & Apparel at Browning.

“It has been amazing to see the reaction from our customers when we announced that we would have Realtree camo patterns in addition to Mossy Oak.
